Scale With - Salus Controls
19 September – 25 September 2026 · Third straight record week: £5,710 revenue (+61.7%) · Buy box rises to 52% · Conversion almost doubles to 6.91%
Why sales grew: more buy box, not more traffic
Sessions fell 17% this week (2,377 → 1,969) while units rose 53% (89 → 136). Conversion nearly doubled from 3.74% to 6.91%. That pattern means more of the shoppers already visiting Salus listings bought from Salus. RT310RF alone added £1,120 of the £2,178 increase after its in-week buy box share rose from 13.9% to 68.2%, with no change to our price. Full breakdown in What drove the increase below.
Stock is now the constraint: RT510TX Plus has sold out and RT310RF is down to 18 units. A replenishment shipment is being prepared to go out within the next two days.

Two £1,000+ days
Saturday 19 Sep (£1,002.79 / 25 units) and Tuesday 22 Sep (£1,076.91 / 24 units). Both beat last week's best day (£854.79). Tuesday converted at 8.79%, the highest day of the week.
Wednesday 23 Sep - the one soft day
£405.93 / 10 units on 232 sessions, with a 30% refund rate (3 of 10 units). Volume recovered straight away on Thursday and Friday (42 units combined).
Fewer sessions, more orders
Daily sessions fell from 332 to 263 across the week, while units held at 20–25 on most days. More of each day's visitors bought from Salus because Salus held the offer more often.

Unchanged count; no gap widened this week
The headline count rises from 14/29 (48%) to 15/29 (52%), a second weekly rise in a row, with DT500RF added. The bigger commercial story sits inside the contested listings. Salus is winning a larger slice of the offer on its highest-traffic ASINs, RT310RF above all, and that is where this week's revenue came from.
What's happening in the market - the evidence behind the buy box gains
1. Our prices did not move
All 33 RT310RF units sold at £39.99, and the listing price is still £39.99. The gains came without a price cut. Cheaper Heating (£39.14) and Mporium London (£39.46) are still listed cheaper.
2. Fewer competing offers
Amazon's own "average offer count" across the Salus catalogue fell from 31 to 29 on Wednesday 23 September and stayed there. Thursday and Friday then produced 42 units between them.
3. Cheaper Heating stepping back
Last week Cheaper Heating was listed below MAP on RT310RF and RT510RF-Plus. It no longer appears in today's live below-MAP alerts on either listing, which means it has either raised its price or withdrawn those offers. Its 30-day share on DT500RF has dropped to 48%, and on RT310RF to 42%. It still holds DT600RF and IT800WiFi.
4. Hanicks holding or raising prices
Hanicks held SQ610 at £66.00 (above MAP) for a second week, and Salus's share rose from 42% to 81%. It also raised SQ610RF from £58.50 to £59.99. Where Hanicks matches our price exactly (RT310TX £39.99), the offer is shared and Salus still sold 18 units.
5. Seasonal demand building
Since 29 August, DIY & Tools best-seller ranks have improved across every core wireless range: RT510 family 8,237 → 4,130, RT310 family 9,067 → 7,032, RT520 family 40,291 → 17,328, WBRT520TX 30,887 → 18,072. The buy box gains are landing as heating-season demand rises.
6. Stock is now the limit
RT510TX Plus sold its last units after its best week (18). The offer has passed to PlumbDirect UK (£48.00) and Hanicks (£58.00). Buy box gains only hold while Salus has FBA stock, so RT310RF (18 units) and RT310TX (19) are next at risk.
Sources: Seller Central orders and inventory (price), daily business report (offer count), monitoring tool live MAP alerts and 30-day Buy Box Report (reseller activity), BSR report (29/08 vs 28/09). We can see resellers' listed prices but not their stock levels, so a seller dropping out of the alerts may have run out of stock or raised its price. Either way, the undercut stopped.
Account buy box trend - 13 June to 25 September 2026
The 25 Sep point (52%) is a second consecutive rise, after the 45% plateau in early September. The account-wide rate is still held down by six SKUs where Salus has no rolling share: DT600RF(WE), RT520RF, RT510RF-Plus, RT510LG5Vplus, IT800WiFi and SQ610RF. RT510TX Plus has joined them for now because it has no stock.

Share figures come from the 30-day rolling Buy Box Report, which lags. In-week figures from Amazon's business report (quoted where relevant) show what happened during the reporting week itself.

"Amazon EU" is the seller name Amazon's own retail business uses. Its appearance suggests Amazon has bought Salus stock through a trade route. It does not hold the buy box on any of the three listings. Mporium London Ltd (new last week) remains active on RT310RF only.

Five returns this week. Four of the five cite compatibility or wrong model, not a product fault, and two more RT310 compatibility returns came in on 28/09. With sales rising, clearer compatibility wording on the RT310 and RT520 family listings (which unit needs a receiver, what each one replaces) should reduce this. Units refunded per the daily business report: 14 (10.3% of units). An automated removal of 4 unsellable units (RT200, RT310, RT510plus, RT510TX Plus - 1 each) was raised on 22/09 and is pending.

Removed this week: WBRT520TX tool threshold (no longer alerting) and Mporium London Ltd (now tracked in the MAP table). RT510TX Plus's buy box contest is folded into item 1.
Sales. Revenue rose to £5,710.23 (+61.7%) on 136 units (+52.8%), a third consecutive record week and the largest weekly increase since reporting began. Sessions fell 17% while conversion almost doubled to 6.91%, so the growth came from converting existing traffic. RT310RF (+£1,120) and RT310TX (+£440) did most of the lifting, and 17 SKUs sold, up from 13.
Why the buy box improved. The gains came without any Salus price change. Amazon's average offer count across the Salus catalogue fell from 31 to 29 on 23/09. Cheaper Heating no longer appears below MAP on RT310RF or RT510RF-Plus, and Hanicks held or raised prices on the SQ610 range. This comes as heating-season demand builds across the category. Account buy box is 52% (15/29) and rising for a second week.
Priority for next week: stock. The buy box gains have outpaced stock. RT510TX Plus has sold out, RT310RF has about half a week left and RT310TX just over a week. A replenishment shipment is going out within the next two days. Protecting the regained RT310RF buy box is the most valuable thing we can do next week.
