August: revenue grew, but the market grew faster. Salus revenue reached £6,046, up 30% on July and the account's best month yet. But the market rose to £132,630 - more than double July - so the capture rate fell sharply to 4.6%, down from 8.8% in July and 11.0% in June. RT510RF+, RT310RF, RT520RF and iT800 WiFi again earned Salus nothing, as Salus holds no buy box on any of them. Cheaper Heating also opened two new MAP breaches this month, on DT500RF and DT600RF.
How market size is calculated
Market size covers every seller of genuine Salus Controls heating products, including reseller listings under a different brand or SKU for the same item (see "Known duplicate-listing cases" below). On this basis: June is unchanged (£42,644), July rises to £52,603 (was £48,579), and August is £132,630 (was £71,325). Most of August's rise is a broad increase across the existing catalogue; one product, RT510LG5V+, jumped from no measurable sales in June or July to £27,984 in August - the tool would have caught even a handful of sales in earlier months, so this looks like a genuine step-change on that ASIN, not a data-coverage gap. Worth checking what changed on Hanicks' listing.
Reading the reseller figures
Buy Box shows only who holds a listing today, not who held it across the full 30 days - it can change hands more than once a month (RT310TX moved from Salus to Hanicks and back within August). Treat the reseller shares below as directionally right, not a precise split.

Snapshot: 1 September 2026 monitoring tool export. RT310 remains client-confirmed at £19.99 MAP and excluded per the 17/08/2026 correction. SQ610 came off this table during August - Hanicks raised its price above Salus's, closing the gap.

Key observations - August 2026
Capture rate has fallen every month: 11.0% (Jun) → 8.8% (Jul) → 4.6% (Aug)
Salus's share of its own product category has more than halved since June, even as Salus's own revenue keeps growing - the market is simply growing faster. Hanicks, Cheaper Heating and now PlumbDirect UK are consolidating buy box control across the catalogue.
→ Treat capture rate, not revenue growth, as the primary KPI for this channel.
Four tracked SKUs held at £0 Salus revenue all month
RT510RF+, RT310RF, RT520RF and iT800 WiFi earned nothing for Salus in August despite a combined comparable market of roughly £32,566. All four are 3P-held on active MAP breaches. This is the same structural gap flagged in June and July, now in its third consecutive month without resolution.
→ Escalate Brand Registry enforcement on these four lines specifically - they are the single largest recoverable block on the account.
Cheaper Heating opens two new MAP breaches - DT500RF and DT600RF
Both lines were clean Salus holds as recently as mid-August. Cheaper Heating is now pricing DT500RF at £44.99 (MAP £54.99, -18.2%) and DT600RF at £54.99 (MAP £64.99, -15.4%). This is the same seller already under enforcement on RT310RF and RT510RF-Plus, expanding rather than retreating.
→ Add both to the existing Cheaper Heating enforcement file as one escalation, not two separate cases.
Record week (£2,251.60) shows genuine underlying strength
The week ending 28 August was the account's best on record for both revenue and units, and even excluding a single 21-unit THB23031 order, the week still totalled £1,726.81 - itself the second-highest units week to date. Twelve SKUs sold, up from nine the week before, and sessions hit a new record of 1,327.
UG800 and RT510TX Plus continue to show what a clean buy box does
UG800 converted essentially all of its estimated market into Salus revenue again this month. RT510TX Plus, now separately visible in the market model for the first time, earned £901 across the month with a best week of £351.18 - Salus's strongest single SKU week in August.

The July picture: market grew, Salus didn’t. The market grew from £42,644 in June to £52,603 in July, a 23% increase consistent with early heating-season ramp-up (see the August tab for how market size is calculated). Salus revenue was virtually flat at £4,638 vs £4,687 in June, so the capture rate fell from 11.0% to 8.8%. RT510RF+ and RT520RF remain the core problem, both largely captured by 3P sellers pricing below MAP. Enforcement on those two lines is the single largest lever available on the channel.

DT600RF and SQ610RF flagged but MAP thresholds unconfirmed - verify with Salus before enforcement. RT310 was previously listed here against a £24.99 tool threshold; Salus confirmed on 17/08/2026 that the correct MAP is £19.99, so RT310 was never in breach and has been removed. The 24 alert total is as originally recorded and has not been restated.

Key observations - July 2026
Capture rate fell from 11.0% to 8.8% while the market grew
The market grew by £9,959 (23%) from June to July. Salus revenue fell by £49. This means 3P sellers are capturing the seasonal uptick while Salus stands still. Without MAP enforcement, the buy box position will continue to deteriorate as the heating season approaches.
✓ RT310 pricing confirmed correct - previously reported in error
This tab previously reported that the Salus account was pricing RT310 below its own MAP, at £19.99 against a £24.99 threshold, and recommended raising the list price. Salus confirmed on 17/08/2026 that £19.99 is the correct MAP. The £24.99 figure came from an incorrect threshold in the monitoring tool. Salus was never in breach on this line, and the £19.99 price should not be changed.
→ Correct the monitoring tool threshold to £19.99 so the false alert stops recurring.
CreativeMind emerged as a new competitor on RT520RF
In June, RT520RF was held by plumb2u and Cheaper Heating. By July, CreativeMind holds the buy box at £55.50 - a 20.7% MAP breach. This is a new entrant on a high-value line and should be prioritised in any cease and desist action.
UG800 and SQ610 performing well above market model estimates
Both UG800 (£960 Salus vs £480 estimated market) and SQ610 (£910 Salus vs £260 estimated market) are exceeding the market estimates from the third-party tool. This suggests these are larger market segments than currently measured, and Salus holds a dominant position in both.

June 2026 was a buy-box month, not a demand month. The market is estimated at £42,644/month (see the August tab for how this is calculated) and Salus captured £4,687 (11.0%), a reasonable low-season result given June sits near the annual trough for UK heating products. The standout issue was the buy box collapse during the week of 13–19 June, when plumb2u took RT310 at £24.95 and Hanicks claimed RT310TX, cutting that week’s revenue to £695 vs an average of £1,330. RT520RF remains the most significant structural gap: an estimated £6,400/month market with Salus capturing £0, because Cheaper Heating and plumb2u hold the buy box at 20% below MAP while 99 Salus FBA units sit idle.

Snapshots: 8 Jun, 18 Jun, 29 Jun 2026. All violations persisted across at least 2 of 3 snapshots. RT310 was previously listed here at a £24.99 MAP with plumb2u at £24.95; Salus confirmed on 17/08/2026 that the correct MAP is £19.99, so plumb2u was priced above MAP and was not in breach. That row has been removed and the June count restated from 8 to 7.

Key observations - June 2026
RT520RF: £6,400/month market, £0 Salus revenue
99 Salus FBA units sat idle throughout June earning nothing. plumb2u and Cheaper Heating hold the buy box at £55.65 - 20.5% below MAP. Estimated monthly revenue loss: ~£3,500 while the MAP breach persists.
→ C&D to plumb2u and Cheaper Heating. Escalate if stock not removed within 14 days.
Buy box collapse week (13–19 Jun) cost ~£635 in recoverable revenue
plumb2u undercut RT310 by £0.04 and Hanicks claimed RT310TX outright. That week generated £695 vs a surrounding average of £1,330. These are enforcement problems, not demand problems.
WBRT520TX and UG800 show what 100% buy box looks like
WBRT520TX earned £1,155 in June at 100% buy box - 24.6% of total account revenue. UG800 earned £720 on just 9 units. Both demonstrate the revenue potential when Salus holds the buy box cleanly, even in low season.
